Today, Air India Express shared exciting news! Starting January 16, 2023, there will be new flights from Gwalior to two big cities – Delhi and Bengaluru. These flights will happen every day. This is great because it makes traveling to and from Gwalior much easier. This news comes just a few weeks after the airline began flying from Gwalior to Hyderabad.
First Flights on the New Routes
The first flight to Bengaluru from Gwalior, called IX 1590, will leave on January 16, 2024, early in the morning at 5:10 AM and arrive in Gwalior at 7:45 AM. The flight back to Bengaluru, IX 1592, will depart Gwalior in the afternoon at 3:35 PM and get to Bengaluru by 6:10 PM. For Delhi, flight IX 1590 will take off from Gwalior at 8:15 AM and reach Delhi at 9:20 AM. The return flight, IX 1592, will leave Delhi at 1:35 PM and land in Gwalior at 3:00 PM.

Ankur Garg, a big boss at Air India Express, talked about these new flights. He said that their goal is to make more places in India easy to reach, especially smaller cities. The flights from Gwalior to Delhi and Bengaluru are part of this plan. They’re also making it easy to go from Gwalior to 21 other important places through one-stop trips in Bengaluru, Delhi, and Hyderabad. Plus, the Delhi-Gwalior flight is great for people in Gwalior who want to visit Ayodhya.

- From Bengaluru to Gwalior: Leaves at 5:10 AM, and arrives at 7:45 AM. Every day.
- From Gwalior to Bengaluru: Leaves at 3:35 PM, arrives at 6:10 PM. Every day.
- From Gwalior to Delhi: Leaves and arrives every day.
- From Delhi to Gwalior: Leaves at 1:35 PM, arrives at 3:00 PM. Every day.
