Air India, a company owned by Tata Group, has announced its plans to introduce eight new flight services in its 2023 summer schedule starting from March 26, 2023. These new flight services are aimed at connecting India with several sought-after international destinations, including Bangkok in Thailand, Hong Kong, and Seoul in South Korea.
The new flight services include six flights to Bangkok, three of which will fly from Delhi and Mumbai respectively, and additional weekly flights from Delhi to Seoul (Incheon) and Hong Kong. These new additions are expected to significantly increase travel options for customers and improve the prospects of tourism and trade between India and these countries.

The eight new flight services will all be operated by the highly efficient and comfortable Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft, which has a two-class cabin configuration comprising 18 business class seats and 236 economy class seats, thereby providing passengers with a total of 236 economy class seats.
With the addition of these eight new flight services, Air India’s route network will offer a grand total of 67 weekly flights to Bangkok, Hong Kong, Seoul, Singapore, and Tokyo from Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Trichy, and Madurai, all under Air India and Air India Express. The airline has made it possible for customers to book their tickets through various channels, including its website, mobile app, and other travel agents.
In addition to the aforementioned new flights, Air India also has nonstop flights from Delhi to Sydney and Melbourne in Australia. The introduction of these new flights is expected to bolster Air India’s status as India’s leading airline.
