Dharamshala Skyway, an aerial ropeway project, now makes it possible for anyone to travel from Dharamshala to McLeodganj in 5 minutes instead of 45 minutes by car.
As a result of long-standing tourist demand, TRIL Urban Transport Private Ltd is developing the Dharamshala Skyway as a public-private partnership.
Tata Group in a tweet said:

Dharamshala Skyway: How Can It Promote Tourism in the Area?
Approximately Rs 207 crores were spent on the construction of the project.
Dharamshala Skyway Ticket price One Way & Two Way:
Ticket prices for a one-way trip cost Rs 300 and for a two-way trip cost Rs 500 per person. The ropeway is said to be capable of carrying 1,000 passengers every hour in both directions.
As soon as the ropeway is operational, it will shorten the journey by 9 kilometers and reduce travel time by 40%.
The Dharamsala Ropeway was dedicated by Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on January 19, 2022. The top station of this ropeway is directly in front of the Dalai Lama Temple.
Skyway is made up of ten towers and two stations built by Mono Cable Detachable Gondolas System.
