Switzerland calling!
The Swiss government has reported to invite completely vaccinated Indian travelers, with no isolation period and RT-PCR test requirements. Indian travelers who have got both the doses of Covid Shield immunization are all set to head out for a trip to Switzerland.
Although, Switzerland is not asking for a negative RT-PCR results, but certain aircraft might require request Indian travelers to carry the same while traveling as part of their travel or boarding guidelines.
Up until now, there’s no air bubble among India and Switzerland; along these lines, there are no non-stop trips between the two objections. Passing by this, immunized Indians should travel through Paris or Amsterdam to arrive at Switzerland.
The Switzerland Embassy and Consulate in India has begun obtaining visas from June 28, 2021. On June 23, the Federal Council of Switzerland has chosen to unwind the rules for Indian travelers who have been vaccinated.
It was, however, decided in the meeting that travelers entering from the Schengen area does not require isolation. Requirements pertaining to isolation might be relevant to unvaccinated travelers showing up via plane or who have not yet recovered from Coronavirus.
The official website of the Swiss embassy in India is of the opinion, “The embassy of Switzerland in New Delhi is currently accepting all visa categories for persons arriving from third world countries like India, who can prove, that they have been fully vaccinated. Booking of a prior appointment is mandatory for all application type. VFS Global Services is operational and accepting visa applications at the centers in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai, Cochin, and Hyderabad.”
Travelers showing up from the USA, Albania or Serbia can enter Switzerland with no obligations.
