Dehradun Airport or the Jolly Grant Airport is the nearest airport from Auli. It is situated almost 220 kilometers away from Auli. Jet Airways, SpiceJet, and Air India Regional operate flights from major cities like Delhi, Bangalore, and Mumbai to reach Auli. After landing at the Jolly Grant Airport, you have to take a bus or taxi service to reach Auli. The airport is also very near to Rishikesh. So you can reach Auli through the motorable ways from Rishikesh as well.

How to reach Auli by Train

Rishikesh railway station is the nearest rail station to Auli. The station is almost 230 kilometers away from Auli. Here you will find frequent trains as Rishikesh is well connected to the major Indian cities by the extensive railway network. From Delhi, you will get so many superfast trains for Rishikesh and Haridwar daily. After reaching the Rishikesh railway station, you have to hire a taxi, cab, or bus to reach Auli. The NH58 connects Rishikesh to Auli. It will take almost five to 6 hours to reach Auli from Rishikesh.

How to Reach Auli by Road

Traveling to Auli by road will be very exciting. The breathtaking views of the surroundings will make your journey more enjoyable. From Rishikesh, you will get regular state buses to reach Auli. Also, the bus services are available from Haridwar and Dehradun as well. Also, you will get the available bus services from the major cities of Uttarakhand like Joshimath, Rudraprayag, and Pauri to reach Auli. Otherwise, you can hire jeep services to reach Auli through NH 94.

Note: As a result of heavy snowfall, the road to Auli is generally blocked during the winter season. However, Joshimath and Auli are connected by cable car.
