This train is known for its punctuality. It runs on all days except Friday.

To reach Agra in the shortest possible time, “the Gatimaan Express” is the best option. This train departs from Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station at around 08:10 am and reaches Agra at 09.50 am on the same day. The introduction of this fast train with proper hygiene, food availability, selection of ticketing, and seat options make it an attractive option for people.

If you don’t want to travel in the morning, then there is another fast-speed train the New Delhi Habidganj Shatabdi Express that leaves from New Delhi at 6 am and arrives at Agra at 7:57 am on the same day. It is cheaper, and a good speed train, which makes it another considerable option for your trip.

Furthermore, there are two more fast trains the Andhra Pradesh AC Super-Fast Express, and The Taj Express Superfast that depart from New Delhi Railway Station. Both of these options do not provide an AC facility and are comparatively cheaper than the other trains that run on this route. If you are traveling in the winter season, and wish to save money on the AC facility, you can choose this train.

When you choose to go by Taxi / Your Vehicle

Road journey between New Delhi to Agra has become faster, and smoother due to better road links. The Yamuna Expressway is a six-lane expressway that connects both these cities and reduces travel time. Due to the new Yamuna Expressway, and NH2, traveling by road can turn out to be a convenient, and affordable option when you are planning to go in groups like with your family, and friends.

The total time of drive is around 4 to 5 hours on the basis of the time of the day, and the traffic. You need to make your own arrangements for travel and this can make it a little expensive option in comparison to trains.
