The Ramgarh Vishdhari Sanctuary is now a new tiger reserve in Rajasthan, and it’s been notified recently. This new reserve brings the total number of tiger reserves in India to 52.

The Ramgarh Vishdhari Sanctuary is located between the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve and Mukundra Hills Tiger Reserve in Rajasthan. The area serves as a corridor for tigers.

Rajasthan now has four tiger reserves. Mukundra, Sariska, and Ranthambore are the other three. The designation of an area as a wildlife reserve implies that its biodiversity is protected by law. In general, this is a good development for nature and the region.

Ramgarh Vishdhari Sanctuary not only has a good tiger habitat, but also has striped hyenas, leopards, golden jackals, sloth bears, Indian wolves, nilgai, foxes, and chinkaras.

Government officials are also working to promote ecotourism and development in the area. A number of other sites have been selected for ecotourism, such as the Garh Palace and Bhimlat Mahadev Temple.
