This place is also famous for snow leopard. If you come to this place during the month of February you can get a view of the snow leopards. If you are a lucky person you can get a view of the snow leopards wrapped with snow in the hills of Uttarakhand. As per the report during the last year, about 86 leopards were found.
As per the current estimation, about 620 leopards are found all across the Himalayan States of India. It will be a wonderful experience to get a clear view of the leopards during this period. If you want you can also get a wonderful view of the snow leopards in the Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve. They are preserved with good care.
In the year 2020 three leopards were found in the camera from Margalla Hills. It is very vital to preserve these leopards as they are on the way to extinction.
