IndiGo Removes Extra Fuel Charges on Flights

IndiGo Launches Flights Between Bhubaneswar and Dubai

Starting January 4, 2024, IndiGo, a big airline in India, has stopped adding extra fuel charges on all flights. This is good news for people flying in India and to other countries. Last year, in October 2023, IndiGo started charging more because the fuel for planes, called Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF), was getting more expensive. But now, the price of this fuel has gone down, so IndiGo is taking away the extra charge.

IndiGo is known for making flying easy and affordable. They promise to keep looking at fuel prices and changing how much they charge for tickets when needed.

When IndiGo added the extra charge in October last year, they said it was because the price of ATF was going up a lot. This made it more expensive to run the planes. But now, with the cost of fuel going down, they can remove this extra charge.

This change means cheaper tickets for people flying with IndiGo. The airline is happy to make flying easier and more affordable again.
