In order to provide tourists with a more enjoyable experience when they visit Jaisalmer, the city has recently introduced the option of helicopter rides for tourists. According to reports, the Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation (RTDC) has entered into an agreement with an A1 helicopter service provider for joyrides that have been initiated on an experimental basis at Sam.
Several guests attended the launch ceremony of this initiative, including the Minority Affairs Minister Saleh Mohammed, the Minister of State for Tourism Murari Lal Meena, the Chairman of the Regional Tourism Development Council, Tina Dabi, and others, including the Minister of State for Tourism Murari Lal Meena.
A helicopter ride will give the tourism sector a new identity through its future use, says Dabi. Furthermore, she explained, at the moment, tourists will be able to enjoy helicopter joyrides, parasailing, and paramotoring as part of their tourist package, which will be a welcome addition. In some reports, helicopter joy rides have been started on an experimental basis, and in the future, there is an ambitious plan of connecting other tourist spots by means of air routes in order to create a tourism circuit.
Apparently, tourist circuits are going to be created in order for tourists to be able to visit more places in a shorter amount of time-based on religious, wildlife, and heritage categories. In his latest announcement about the joyrides, RTDC Chairman Dharmendra Rathore revealed that the minimum ticket price per tourist will be INR 7,000 and that 200 tourists will be able to take advantage of this service via 40 trips per day. In addition to this, he informed me that there would be two slots available for the joy ride – 5 minutes and 15 minutes.
