From November onwards, Azerbaijan Airlines plans to operate non-stop flights between Baku and Mumbai – India’s commercial hub.
The airline has already started selling tickets for its twice-weekly flights between Mumbai and Baku. The airline’s exclusive partner in India, Zeal Global Group, confirmed this development.

J2-5003 is scheduled to depart Heydar Aliyev International Airport (GYD) at 18:50 and arrive at Mumbai International Airport (BOM) at 01:00, according to AZAL’s official website. On the following day, the same flight will return from Mumbai to Baku.

The airline’s official website and accredited travel agencies sell tickets for these flights. There is a free baggage allowance (up to 23 kg in economy class and 32 kg in business class) and a full menu of cold and hot meals is included in the ticket price.
Currently, Covid-19 travel restrictions restrict passengers from traveling on flights under specific conditions of carriage.
Flights Between Baku and Delhi
The airline operates twice-weekly flights from Delhi to Baku and is now launching direct flights from Mumbai. The scenic beauty of Azerbaijan can now be experienced in just four hours from Mumbai.
