The Myanmar government has recently issued new guidelines for tourists seeking visas. To apply for a Myanmar visa, you will need to submit a full vaccination certificate within three months, a recent colour photo, and a passport valid for six months.
Applicants who are travelling with children under the age of seven and have them on the same passport must fill out the minor section of the visa application form with their name and date of birth.
Visitors with tourist visas are currently allowed to enter the country through Yangon International Airport. Myanmar requires visitors to present the aforementioned documents and comply with its laws in order to gain entry into the country.
Tourist visas are only valid for a single entry, and visitors who wish to re-enter the country will require a new visa. From the date of entry, the tourist visa allows a maximum stay of 28 days.
