The first passengers were able to take the helicopter ride after it was announced that helicopter services would now be available for people who live in the Union Territory and tourists from all sectors. The helicopter service will be operated by the administration and the ones who desire to take the ride can book it online at https://heliservice.ladakh.gov.in/.
The administration has been notified by Ladakh’s civil air department about the costs associated with the service. This portal provides a unique booking interface to passengers who aren’t Ladakhis.
The availability of tickets depends on a variety of factors

The service will be offered by two helicopters: a five-seat B-3 helicopter and a larger Mi-172 helicopter.
Initial service areas are Leh, Kargil and Padum, Lingsheds, Dibling, Neyrak and Diskit, Turtuk, and Srinagar.
The helicopter service is currently available for Leh and Drass as well as Padum, Padum Lingshed, Nyerak, Padum, Kargil, Padum, and Padum. Visitors will have easier access to these areas, and the service will allow them to access more areas.
