6. Dashain
The Dashain Festival is the longest 15 days festival held in Nepal. Further, it is the victory of Goddess Durga over Mahisasura. The Brahmins carry the Kalash with Jamara and Bamboo stalks directly from Gorkha to Kathmandu.

8. Buddha Jayanti
