The Ranthambore National Park is significantly changing its safari operations this tourism season. Tourists planning to experience the renowned wildlife safaris must note that the previously available hotel pick-up and drop-off services will no longer be provided. Visitors are now required to make their way independently to either a specific boarding point set by the forest department or directly to the forest entrance.
This operational shift, aimed at enhancing the efficiency of the safari experience, is detailed on the forest department’s booking website. It is essential for visitors to acquaint themselves with these new procedures to ensure a smooth and enjoyable safari experience.

This change is expected to streamline the process of getting tourists to the park, which was often delayed due to the time taken for hotel pick-ups. To accommodate potential delays, the forest department is now allowing a 15-minute grace period beyond the scheduled time for starting the safari. However, tourists must inform their guide and driver of any delays.
Suppose a tourist fails to arrive at the designated meeting point within the grace period, even after notifying them of a delay. In that case, the safari vehicle will proceed with the tour without them. This policy is designed to maintain the schedule of park visits and provide a timely and uninterrupted experience for all visitors.
