One of the important national parks in Rajasthan, Sariska National Park, is located in the Alwar district of Rajasthan. Stretching through an area of 866 sq. The park is not only famous for the ‘Tiger population’ and ‘Tiger Reserve Initiative’. It also has a large variety of flora and fauna. This national park, located about 107 kilometers from Jaipur, occupies an unfathomable 800 sq. period. Kilometers of area, and is overseen by the Rajasthan Government. Parts of deciduous trees, fields, rugged scenes and steep precipices are divided into the National Park.
The ‘Siliserh Lake’ and the ‘Jai Samand Lake’ surround themselves with the Sariska National Park. It is home to numerous crocodiles, water snakes, and different land and water species. Even though there are very few tourist destinations around Sariska. In Jaipur, Rajasthan, the National Park serves as an untouched getaway. For tourists, it is a feeling of perfect peace and endless spans of widely varied vegetation.
About History Sariska National Park
The “Sariska National Park” history goes back to the time of pre-independence. Earlier, this region was is the use by the Kings or the royal people as a private hunting destination. After independence, the situation shifted, the kings were stripped from their royal control.
Common citizens began hunting wild animals for residence and agricultural purposes to clear land. For reasons of continuous shooting and government neglect, the number of wild animals kept decreasing drastically here. But, the chosen Sariska Wildlife Sanctuary was not one of the nine Tiger project reserves in 1973.
The incorporation of the Sariska Wildlife Sanctuary is fully under the Tiger project in 1979. The successful implementation of conservation-related policies has significantly benefited the Sariska Wildlife Sanctuary and made it popular around the world.
However, within the Sariska Wildlife Sanctuary, there are 16 village settlements that shelter 5000 people and 30000 animals. There’s no question that environmental shifts are a threat. Efforts to create an ecological equilibrium and problems such as fraud, traffic, and land settlement are being sought.
Sariska National Park Wildlife Safari
There are two wonderful safaris in Sariska National Park, Jeep Safari and Canter Safari.
Jeep Safari: Via the Jeep Safari, a small group of at least 6 people will explore the national park. And also, its wildlife in their natural environment for approximately 3 hours. The jeep safari is a strong recommendation for wildlife photographers. They can catch the perfect shot of the royal tiger and other animal species.
Canter Safari: Also available for safari is open vans, ‘Canters’ next to jeeps. If more than 6 people are moving in a group, then it’s safer to be in a canter together. It allows 20 people to move in all zones at a time.
Best Season for Sariska National Park Visit:
The ‘Winter Season (October to February)’ is the perfect time to visit Sariska National Park. The climate is very friendly and cool. The dry environment makes wildlife tours refreshing, and easy to go and enjoy.

By air, train and bus, you can reach Sariska National Park.
Air: Jaipur Sanganer Airport, located 110 km away. It is the nearest airport to Sariska National Park and provides easy access by air.
Rail: The closest railway to Sariska National Park is Alwar Railway Station. The railway station is located 38 km from Sariska. It links all of India’s major tourist destinations and major cities. Such as Jaipur, Delhi, Kolkata, Indore, Mumbai, Kota, and many others by rail.
Bus: Sariska National Park has a good connection to the Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (RSRTC). Other private operators in the region and to all cities in the state and the country by road and bus.
