From April 1, entry rules will be relaxed in Singapore. However, it has been reported that all fully-vaccinated passengers will require a pre-departure test and that they must also fulfill prevailing visa requirements before departing. Quarantine or testing on arrival will no longer be required for these passengers. Furthermore, reports suggest that transit through Singapore Change will be restarted next month.

From April 1, 2022, fully vaccinated travelers on all Singapore Airlines and Scoot flights will be able to enter Singapore without any quarantine requirements. As a result of this move, the Singaporean government has simplified its entry protocol for foreigners.

Singapore Airlines issued a statement stating that, from April 1, 2022, all SIA and Scoot passengers who are fully vaccinated will be allowed to enter Singapore without being tested on arrival.

Singapore Airlines and Scoot fly to Singapore from 97 destinations in 34 countries. After the latest update, all eligible customers will be able to access the SIA and Scoot networks.

A statement from SIA and Scoot indicates that specific Vaccinated Travel Lane-designated flights would no longer be offered to start on April 1, 2022. The statement added that existing customers who have already booked on a VTL flight can travel as planned in the future, starting on or after April 1, 2022. According to the statement, bookings will not have to be changed.

It was reported that travelers will now be able to transit through Singapore on most SIA and Scoot flights from 1 April 2022, provided that they meet the requirements of their final destination.

As a result of regulatory requirements, passengers will still be unable to transit through Singapore to a destination in Mainland China or Hong Kong SAR.
