SpiceJet just announced its expansion to Khajuraho to its existing network which is great news for travelers from the country. For the first time, it they will be offering a directly connecting flight between Delhi and Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh. Khajuraho is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and it is Air India’s fifteenth UDAN destination.
“We hope to build at least 100 airports in 2025. from which, 65 airports have already been constructed. The number of passengers was 6 crore in 2012, but it has risen to 14 crores” Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya M Scindia stated at the time of launching SpiceJet’s direct flights between Delhi towards Khajuraho within Madhya Pradesh.
SpiceJet will fly from Delhi and Khajuraho twice per week on Fridays and Sundays. Tickets start at Rs. 3,209 including taxes, as reported by the source.
Ajay Singh the Chairman and Managing Director of SpiceJet stated, “We are delighted to include Khajuraho to our service when we begin launching 24 new flights starting on February 18.” “SpiceJet is the only airline to connect Khajuraho with Delhi with a non-stop service and we’re proud to give the much-needed boost to improve the tourism and travel of the city’s historic past and state,” Singh added.

The introduction of Khajuraho to the SpiceJet network will play an important part in increasing the economy and also increasing tourist activity in the region the company stated. SpiceJet will also connect Delhi to Sharjah by a non-stop service which will be operated at least four times per week.
SpiceJet’s network will connect Chennai–Jodhpur, Mumbai-Jharsuguda, Mumbai–Tirupati, and Varanasi–Dehradun for the first time starting in March 1. According to SpiceJet, the airline will also launch new flights connecting Kolkata with Surat, as well as adding new frequencies to flights connecting Pune with Goa, Delhi with Guwahati, Delhi with Jharsuguda, Delhi with Jabalpur, and Delhi with Darbhanga.
