SpiceJet has started their daily, non-stop flight between Jabalpur and Kolkata. They have also added more flights to the Delhi–Khajuraho UDAN sector as well as are working to launch another 22 new domestic flights across different sectors.
Shilpa Bhatia, Chief Commercial Officer at SpiceJet, states that she is delighted to have launched flights between Kolkata and Jabalpur, to provide the valuable service of boosting tourism in their region. SpiceJet is the only carrier providing this service and they are proud to do so.
SpiceJet started its first Jabalpur-Kolkata flight with Union Minister of Civil Aviation, Jyotiraditya Scindia. In an online ceremony, the minister welcomed SpiceJet to the new route while being in attendance with Member of Parliament, Rakesh Singh, and Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Rajiv Bansal.
The addition of a new flight from Jabalpur to Kolkata will have a positive impact on the regional economy.
