Switzerland Removes almost all COVID-19 restrictions from low-risk countries

Travel enthusiasts! We have good news for those of you who travel. Switzerland has previously made a decision to accept fully vaccinated travelers and those who have recovered from COVID-19 into the country without the requirement of submitting the COVID-19 test results. Now Switzerland has announced that the Swiss Federal Council has announced that Switzerland is lifting all health-related requirements for visitors who are entering the country. In other words, travelers coming to Switzerland do not need to show proof of vaccination as well as negative certificates as well as recovery documents. According to the announcement by the council the relaxations will come in effect on February 17.

All regions and countries, except those mentioned here, such as India are considered to be high-risk states and zones. Restrictions on entry remain in place for those who enter Switzerland from these countries.

The Swiss Government temporarily Hike Visa Fees

It is reported that the Swiss Embassy has issued an announcement about the issue of a Schengen Visa (Type C) for people who wish to visit Switzerland.
