Every year, the Taj Mahal is exempt from the fee. In addition to these three days, World Tourism Day is also an opportunity to visit the Taj Mahal for free.
Dr. Rajkumar Patel, ASI Superintending Archaeologist, announced that visitors will be able to enter the area from 2 pm until sunset on February 27 and February 28, and from sunrise to sunset on March 1.
According to reports, security arrangements for the Taj Mahal have also been reinforced due to the three-day Urs of Shah Jahan and increased tourist traffic. According to officials in the know, all tourists who enter the Taj Mahal for free will be required to comply with the COVID-19 protocol.
