Thailand is partially open for vaccinated tourists from July

The exciting news is coming from Thailand, as Thailand is partially open for vaccinated tourists from July. Thailand is the most visited Asian country in the tourism sector. According to the officials, the government plans to ease its travel restrictions for international tourists from July onwards. Although, only the vaccinated people are allowed to travel from July.

Thailand takes this step to revive their tourism sector that is affected by COVID-19. Still, it is unclear that how visitors will show proof of vaccination.

PM Prayuth Chan-Ocha approved the plan in a recent meeting with the Economic situation Administration. However, before this program starts, a small pilot program will be initiated on 1st July, under which the holiday island Phuket is select for this pilot program.

About this opening, Senior health officials said that only if the government successfully vaccinated 50 to 60 of the population it would be wise to open the doors for international visitors.

Some reports say that from 1st April, people who don’t get a vaccination will have to be under quarantine for ten days, which is reduced from 14 days.

Whereas, who are vaccinated already don’t need any quarantine to move the beach locations. The country’s coronavirus task force has also given a green signal to begin touring this summer.
