17. Jwalamukhi Devi Temple
Jwalamukhi Devi shrine is located at Kangra town of Himachal Pradesh. This temple is devoted to Goddess Jwalamukhi, who is considered a form of Goddess Durga. Jwalamukhi Devi temple is constructed by Raja Bhumi Chand Katoch. It is recognized as the fifty-two Shakti Peethas.
The sacred flames that come out of the Peetha are offered water and milk. Daily Aarti and Yagna are performed. Portions of ancient scripture “Durga Saptasati” are narrated daily. This beautiful temple is located in beautiful scenery with the Dhauladha hills looking onto it.
