According to the Chief Secretary, Chardham Yatra is seasonal in the state, but there is significant potential for off-season tourism, he said. “In order to boost tourism, work should be done on connection first, and the building of helipads and heliports should be completed as soon as possible,” he said.

According to him, passengers and the general public should not have any difficulties if facilities such as water, restrooms, and other amenities are made accessible every 20-30 kilometers on travel routes.

According to the Chief Secretary, it is necessary to develop an app and website that is user-friendly and simple to use so that people can receive all of the information they need on their phones. Officers have been instructed to concentrate on marketing and public relations as well, according to the Chief Secretary.
