Vietnamese airline Vietjet on Monday announced that it plans to connect the coastal city of Da Nang with five cities as it seeks to expand its presence across the biggest subcontinental nation.
The airline will connect New Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Bengaluru with the Vietnamese coastal city Da Nang.
The new service will begin in the 3rd quarter of 2022 and will include up to seven flights returning each week, the airline stated in an announcement.
Vietjet operates four flights connecting Vietnam and India, including New Delhi/Mumbai Hanoi and New Delhi/Mumbai Ho Chi Minh City.
Already, it has revealed plans to open two more routes connecting New Delhi and Mumbai with Phu Quoc, an island city. Phu Quoc in September 2022.
The announcement will launch 5 new routes announced in the Da Nang Investment Forum 2022, Vietjet said.
This event also marks the announcement by Vietjet to integrate Da Nang’s tourism logo on its fleet to increase awareness of the city worldwide.

“Vietjet thinks that the routes today announced will continue to assist in creating more opportunities and promoting trade, business, and economic investments among Da Nang and other Vietnamese cities as well as regional destinations,” said Vietjet Vice President Nguyen Thanh son.
Da Nang is Vietnam’s one of the most appealing destinations for tourists from abroad.
Vietjet has served more than 22 million people and Da Nang so far and currently has eight domestic and five international routes connecting Da Nang with Da Nang’s coastal city, the entrepreneur said.
With various positive experiences and connections with Da Nang along with Vietnam’s ‘Central heritage road’, Vietjet has constantly been opening more routes and has expanded its flights with diverse flights and a positive journey for passengers traveling with its modern and new fleet, according to the airline.
