Vistara, a leading full-service carrier from India owned by Tata Group, is launching a direct flight between Mumbai and Mauritius starting March 26, 2023.
This makes Mauritius the 12th international destination connected to Mumbai by Vistara. The five weekly flights will be on a long-range A321 aircraft with three classes: business, premium economy, and economy.
The flight schedule is as follows:
UK 241 from Mumbai will depart at 7:30 AM and arrive in Mauritius at 12:00 PM, while the return flight UK 242 will depart from Mauritius at 1:30 PM and arrive in Mumbai at 9:00 PM. The flights will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Vistara offers all-inclusive round-trip fares for Mumbai-Mauritius-Mumbai starting at INR 49,999 and round-trip all-inclusive fares for Mauritius-Mumbai-Mauritius starting at MUR 28,999. Bookings are now open on the Vistara website, mobile apps, call centers, online travel agencies, airport ticketing offices, and travel agents.
Vinod Kannan, CEO of Vistara, said that the new route would help the growing traffic between India and Mauritius, which have strong cultural ties, trade, and bilateral relations. He also mentioned that the company is confident travelers will appreciate their world-class products and services on this route.
Additionally, Vistara recently announced that it would begin direct flights from Mumbai to Colombo and Dammam on March 1, 2023.
