By Air: Mawsynram is located 87 kilometers from Shillong airport or Umroi airport.
By Road: From Guwahati, Mawsynram is 150 kilometers away by road.
By Train: Mawsynram is 150 km away from the nearest railway station, Guwahati. There are taxis and buses available to Mawsynram from the Guwahati railway stations, and it takes 4 or 5 hours by bus to reach Mawsynram.
Best time to Visit Mawsynram :
Mawsynram is the most pleasant for sightseeing between September and May. Mawsynram can be enjoyed best during the monsoon season, when the rains are in full force.
