The Kerala government stated on Saturday that all fully vaccinated travelers coming to Kerala would no longer be required to present a negative RT-PCR test report at the airport.
They must, however, present documents indicating that they have received both doses of the Covid-19 vaccination.
According to a press statement, the State Disaster Management Authority made the decision because the Covid-19 vaccine was “progressing smoothly.”
It went on to say that those who are participating in activities that need a negative RT-PCR result should provide their immunization certificate proving they’ve had two doses of the vaccine.

“Those who have acquired COVID symptoms, on the other hand, must undertake an RT-PCR test and carry a negative result.” As the official said.
Following the positive results of COVID-19 immunization, the amended order has been implemented.
Furthermore, the state government has expanded the RT-PCR test’s validity interval from 48 to 72 hours.
The demand for vaccination certificates to be used instead of RT-PCR certificates has been continuous, and it has been made by a variety of groups, including Keralites residing in neighboring states.
Keralites returning from other states have been denied entrance into the state in the past owing to a lack of an RT-PCR negative certificate.
As a result, now that the newly revised rule is in effect, it is believed that getting to the state would be considerably easier.
