Madhya Pradesh got its first vista dome coach on Bhopal Jabalpur Janshatabdi Express. The state ministers Usha Thakur and Vishvas Sarang formally launched the coach from Kamalapati Railway Station here.
The coach was installed through the Indian Railways under the Madhya Pradesh tourism board’s initiative, which features oversized windows, 360-degree rotatable pushback chairs, and self-operating sliding doors. While applauding the state’s stunning tourist spots, the board promised that travelling would be more gorgeous.
Vistadome coaches have clear roofs and huge windows that let passengers admire the beautiful surrounding views. They also have upgraded features to ensure their convenience and ease of use.
Similarly, the principal secretary for Tourism and Culture, Sheo Shekhar Shukla, stated that this new development would allow tourists to enjoy views of the mountains, nature, and rivers between these two cities.
Mr. Shukla also said that the new development would allow tourists to experience the beautiful scenery of hills and rivers and experience a full-on experience. He said travelling to the most popular tourist destinations such as Bhimbaithika, Tawa Dam, Satpura National Park, Madhai, and Pachmarhi will be more relaxing and enjoyable.
The first vista dome coach in India was launched in the year 2017. It was located in Andhra Pradesh between the Visakhapatnam-Araku route. According to the latest data released by Indian Railways, approximately 33 coaches with vista domes are currently operating in the country.
