#12. Landscape: Deserts To Wettest Places
The Himachali Cap, similar to the turban in other areas of India, is worn with great significance during weddings, fairs, religious festivals, and other community celebrations. These brightly coloured hats have become an icon of state pride.
The Kinnaur area calls the headgear “Thepang”, Although males often wear it, women do so. In other parts of the state, women often don the traditional headscarf known as a “Dhaatu”.
