Indian Railways to Launch 11th Vande Bharat Express Train from Bhopal to New Delhi

Indian Railways is all set to introduce another Vande Bharat Express train from April 1, running between Bhopal and New Delhi. The new train being introduced between Rani Kamlapati Railway station, Bhopal and New Delhi Railway Station will be the eleventh Vande Bharat train in the country.

According to the Railways Ministry, the Delhi-Bhopal Vande Bharat Express will have a travel time of over seven hours, covering a distance of 709 km via Agra Cantt station. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the new Vande Bharat Express train at Rani Kamalapati station in Bhopal on April 1.

Schedule

The proposed schedule states that the Vande Bharat Express will leave Rani Kamlapati Railway station at 5.55 am, stop at Agra Cantt railway station for five minutes and arrive at New Delhi at 1.45 pm. On the return journey, the Vande Bharat train will depart from New Delhi at 2.45 pm, reach Agra Cantt at 4.45 pm and terminate at Rani Kamlapati railway station at 10.45 pm.

Faster than the Shatabdi Express

The Vande Bharat Express, which is said to offer a redefined passenger travel experience in the country, will be faster than the Shatabdi Express by an hour. It can achieve high speeds and reduces the journey time by 25 to 45 percent.

The indigenously designed train set of Vande Bharat Express is equipped with state-of-the-art passenger amenities. The train has aerodynamically designed driver cabins at both ends, enabling quicker turn-around time at destinations.
