The Uttarakhand Cabinet has given the green light to establish the ‘Auli Development Authority’. This move aims to amplify tourism and augment sports amenities in Auli, a picturesque destination in the state.

Pushkar Singh Dhami, the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, emphasized that the enhancement of tourism, sports, and adventurous activities stands as a primary objective for his administration. He also highlighted the recent initiative by his government, the ‘Mukhyamantri Khiladi Protsahan Yojana’, as a testament to their commitment.

Expressing his admiration for Auli, CM Dhami described it as a “natural treasure” bestowed upon the state. He assured that the government is dedicated to its development and beautification.

Auli, nestled at a height of around 3,000 meters above the sea level, is a gem of Uttarakhand. It is not only a sought-after tourist spot for Indians but also attracts international visitors. The ideal time to visit Auli depends on what you seek. For skiing and snow sports, the best months are from December to March. However, if you wish to witness the lush green beauty and blooming flowers, the months between May and November are perfect.
