Malaysia Airlines Boosts Amritsar Flight Frequency to Seven Times Weekly

Malaysia-Airlines

In response to the growing travel demand and impressive load factors on the Amritsar-Kuala Lumpur route, Malaysia Airlines will increase its flight frequency from four to seven times weekly, starting August 01, 2024. This decision follows the airline’s earlier move in January 2024, when it doubled the frequency from two to four weekly flights, reflecting the burgeoning market’s potential.

Expanded Service

With the added flights, Malaysia Airlines will now operate 71 weekly flights to India. Amritsar, launched in November 2023, is one of three new routes introduced last year, along with Ahmedabad and Trivandrum. The Trivandrum route also saw an increase to four weekly flights as of April 03, 2024.
