Orang National Park Package
Orang National Park is situated on the banks of the Brahmaputra River, the life line of the state of Assam, located in two important historical districts, Darang and Sonitpur. This national park is also known as Rajiv Gandhi Orang National Park.
Spread over an area of about 78.81 sq km, the park provides safe haven to various flora, wild creatures and species of birds. It was developed as a sanctuary in 1985 and was given the status of National Park on 13 April 1999.

Orang National Park is accessible with the help of all three modes of transport, the nearest airport is Tezpur Airport. But Guwahati Airport would be a better option for air travel. For railway service you can resort to Tezpur or Guwahati railway station. You can also reach here by road if you want, the city of Orang is well connected to many big cities by better roadways.
Best Time to Visit Orang
The ideal time to visit here is between September to March. During this time, the natural beauty here is worth seeing.
